Anisul Haque

Anisul Haque is an accomplished advocate with over two decades of experience practicing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, and statutory tribunals including DRT, DRAT, and CAT. He is widely recognized for his expertise in banking law, recovery proceedings, and institutional litigation. Mr. Haque served as Director of the Bombay Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd., having held this post for multiple terms since 2012, including a term as Protem Chairman in 2019. Empanelled with leading institutions including the Haj Committee of India, Punjab & Sind Bank, Aditya Birla Finance Ltd., Indostar Capital Finance Ltd., and Shivalik Small Finance Bank, Mr. Haque has led high-stakes litigation and conducted numerous domestic inquiries as an appointed Inquiry Officer. His early service as Government Pleader for the Delhi High Court and his advisory role on executive committees within the cooperative banking sector reflect his depth in both law and governance. Mr. Haque holds degrees in B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M, and brings to his practice a unique blend of academic foundation and field-tested legal strategy.
